Dear Colleagues and partners in patient-care and pain control,
Greetings!
We have just finished extremely well-received workshops for the Cervical and Thoracic spine. Early feedback from both clinicians and academicians about that module has encouraged us to invite you to our next “sharing.” We happen to a powerful set of Manual Medicine protocols that work beautifully. The results have been amazing! We were hoping you could sponsor our next modules. We would welcome any mutually beneficial partnership.
You are hereby cordially invited to a join us at a workshop showcasing techniques that provide remarkable functional gains and attempt to fill in common treatment gaps in Physical Rehabilitation, Manual Medicine / Manual Therapy, and Pain Control practice:
WHAT: Workshop on Synthesized Manual Medicine Techniques
For Somatic Dysfunctions of the Lumbo-sacral spine and Pelvis
WHEN: November 9 and 16, 2008 (Two consecutive Sundays)
WHERE: Academy for International Culinary Arts (AICA) – 2nd floor, Skyway Twin Towers, Capt Henry Javier Avenue, en route to Ultra, and between the Valle Verde Country Club and Bagaberde @ Pasig City
PARTICIPANTS:
Mixed Manual Therapists / Specialists, Physical Therapists, Physicians, PT Aides, Bodywork Specialists
Why should we choose to share our techniques in Manual Medicine?
Manual Medicine is a hands-on method for pain control and functional gains. It fills in a huge gap in a medical practice that already heavily utilizes NSAIDS, muscle relaxants, opiates, and pain modulators.
What’s remarkable about our workshop?
Our workshop features synthesized approach for functional physical rehabilitative gains. It was designed by clinical manual therapists with an established American Medicare-covered practice.
What do we hope to accomplish?
Our workshops are meant to be a sharing of techniques and concepts, with the hopeful eventual goal of pushing an evolution in this field of medical and paramedical practice. The body is an incredibly smart machine. Sometimes the best we can hope for is to help patients heal themselves. Our pervasive goal is to be part of the evolving spectrum of healing.
What’s in this Workshop?
Our training modules feature both established evidence-based techniques as well as revolutionary new case-proven techniques that can almost instantly result in the elimination of pain, ablation of hyper-sympathetic / hypertonic / hyper-inflammatory cycles, significantly measurable gains in joint mobility, ROMs, muscle strength, and general sense of patient well-being.
Why should we learn manual medicine?
1. This early in the game, you already know that modalities and meds have their limits. That’s true, isn’t it? What if you had the answer in your hands? Manual Medicine is a hands-on method for amazing pain control and functional gains.
2. If you love instant and almost magical results, you’ll love what you’ll learn with us. It fills in a huge gap in a medical practice that already heavily utilizes NSAIDS, muscle relaxants, opiates, and pain modulators.
3. If you do not learn this stuff, your colleagues that can ablate pain in one session will accidentally kill your practice.
4. If you’re a PT who’s going to stay in the Philippines by choice, could you risk not preparing for changes in the PPTA that will start creeping in next year?
5. If you’re a PT leaving for abroad to work, do you really want to have a pay grade lower that those skilled in manual therapy? Do you really want to be a perpetual PT aide? Isn’t the APTA striving for justifiable PT-Physician independence?
Why us?
1. We have a functional-outcomes-based practice that works. We are paid by private patients and the United States (in the Philippines!) for manual medicine care that meets TRICARE and Medicare-USA standards.
2. We like good results. We like sending patients home better. We don’t like seeing patients for perpetual rounds of nothing. When you hear from our patients that we “fixed them in one sitting” for something that has taken them 18 sessions elsewhere to not significantly improve elsewhere, you’ll understand that they weren’t exaggerating. We’re just saying it’s possible. Aren’t you curious enough to have a look? Plus, it’s really hard to argue with jaw-dropping results.
There’s a catch (more than one, actually.)
1. Admittedly, we usually charge more than your corner PT when we bill patients. Then again, we don’t take forever. So, yes, this is cost-efficient - for both you and your patients. But what you bill your patients for when you use this technology (with its cutting-edge pain-relief and its functional gains) is really up to you.
2. We may not do this again. Should participant count fail to reflect how life-and-profession-altering this material is, we may revert to our private, closed-door, in-house teaching sessions for just our staff. The best way out of this sad possibility is to confirm your slot today. That’s easy enough to do, right?

Toward Manual Medicine Evolution,

P.S.: Would you also love to join us on the 18th and 25th of October, 2008 for a Peripheral Dysfunction Solutions Workshop that will include material on the shoulder, knees, and elbows? Please indicate if you’d like to see an Introduction to Visceral Manipulation? We’re debating the usefulness of giving away stuff that you’d pay a ton for elsewhere. We find it sad that many people don’t value what they can get for free. Hey! Wait! If we fairly charged you more, would you more appreciate our workshops? Do leave us feedback ASAP. Otherwise the Chief Therapist and the Team Leader will just leave the country this October to “steal and take home” more manual technology. I think the local term is re-certification. It’s like collecting stamps (but more fun!).
