Those who prefer to bring along an anatomy atlas will be most welcome to do so. One skin marker or eyeliner pen per group may prove useful. One small, thin, long towel (Barbero towel) would be useful as well. A skin marker or eyeliner per group would be very useful for newbies.

The Workshop Director is an Author, NLP Master-Practitioner, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Pain Management Consultant, SASTM Practitioner, and the owner of a cat smarter than he is. Uncle Sam has been paying for his hands-on interventions since 2005.

Special Notes:
1. Practice of certain techniques will require the valid professional license of at least one senior team member or physician.
2. Participants are requested to do a vertebro-basilar artery screening before volunteering for end-range cervical techniques.
3. This learning field will be multifocal: you will get to see what the newbie sees, get to do what the intermediates do, and get to refine your skills from the perspective of those who have advanced in these techniques.
PARTICIPANTS in our previous workshops have included Physiatrists, Medical Students, Mixed Manual Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physicians, PT Aides, and Bodywork Specialists.

Primary Care Physicians, Primary Contact PTs, Physical Therapy Interns, M.D. Interns and new graduates are most welcome to join us. Clinicians are heavily encouraged to come. Academicians are encouraged to participate. We would greatly welcome your immense contribution to the discussion sessions.

Backgrounder:

Expenditures for treating GI side effects from NSAID use alone have been shown to comprise 46% of total expenditures for arthritis care. [Bloom BS. Costs of treating arthritis and NSAID-related gastrointestinal side effects. Aliment Pharmacol Ther 1988; 2(suppl): 131-39.] Tired of doing nothing but prescribe NSAIDs for pain on your clinic days? Tired of managing GI side-effects from NSAIDs? What if there was a more effective and more cost-effective way to treat body pains?

Manual Medicine is a hands-on method for pain control and functional gains. It fills in a huge gap in a medical practice that already heavily utilizes NSAIDS, muscle relaxants, opiates, and pain modulators.

Your workshop will feature a synthesized approach for functional physical rehabilitative gains. It was designed with feedback from clinical manual therapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths, and Allopaths.

This is meant to be a sharing of techniques and concepts. Think of it as a technology transfer. We hope, with your help, to engender an evolution in this field of medical and paramedical practice.

This workshop module will feature established evidence-based techniques as well as revolutionary new clinic and case-proven techniques that can almost instantly result in the elimination of pain. We have also seen significantly measurable gains in joint mobility, ROMs, muscle strength, and general sense of patient well-being.

Slots are limited. The limits to what you can learn aren’t.
God bless you, and may you prosper greatly!

Towards an Evolution in Pain Management,

Flynn Sedayon, PTRP
Rheysonn Cornilla, PTRP
Strix Toledo, M.D.

Disclaimer:

This workshop is not meant to replace good clinical judgment and experience. Participants are meant to practice within the bounds set by their individual and institutional licenses, their certifications, and their experience. When in doubt, it is always best to secure clearance from your team physician.

P.S.: Please help us make this workshop better by providing us feedback re this question:

It's really funny to have wonderful critics who are still stuck in the box. We're in awe. Their amazing intuition and insight allows them to judge posthaste what they have not seen before. Wow. I wish i could evaluate postural dysfunctions that fast. [Kat, RDT Practitioner]
